Renew-V and You!Childbirth's Effects on Vaginal Health-Articles

A cross-sectional study conducted at St. George’s Hospital in London investigated the impact of childbirth on the sexual health of primiparous women. The study found that 83% of women experienced sexual problems, including vaginal dryness, in the first three months postpartum. At six months, 64% still reported such issues, indicating a significant impact of childbirth on vaginal health.

Childbirth puts a strain on the body, and it’s been proven that the vagina is affected for months after a woman gives birth.

A pilot study published in the European Journal of Midwifery explored factors affecting women’s sexual functioning after childbirth. The study found that different infant feeding methods, particularly breastfeeding, influenced female sexual functioning, with breastfeeding mothers reporting higher instances of vaginal dryness.

Renew-V can be used after childbirth to help alleviate the effects resulting from both the birthing process and breastfeeding.
